Week 9: Podcasts, Video and ebooks

At last done the last part of the web 2.0 challenge.I did enjoy doing it so enjoy reading my blog.

Week 8: Online Applications and Tools

Forgot to do this last week ! busy..................... Ok I created my account on Zoho Writer. And here is my zoho wiki. http://3sister.wiki.zoho.com/. but I've never done any activity yet. Although it seems like it was a good online application. I'll do some activity later don't have enough time at the moment.

Week 7: Social Networking

I really enjoy this week activity, although the social networking that I am a member of was not on the list.I'm on the friendster one which is commonly use in Asia and US. Like to use this website to communicate with my long lost friends or even my classmates 3 decades ago(so start counting now). It is a good way of communication. You can see photo's of your friends, classmates and relatives. You can also do a restriction on your account wherein only friend of yours can view it.

Tagging,Folksomonies and Technorati

It is week 6 now. Were getting closer to the end part of the learning. I was really busy this week, don't have enough time to explore all the activity but I did read it and I learn that this week activity is to show us how to organize our file by using book marking and tagging. http://del.icio.us/ is a good way to use as a social bookmarking.

Wikis Blogs

It is the end of July which means we'll have" monthly draw". And the winner is....?
Week 5 of the programme our topic is " Wikis " comes from the Hawaiian phrase "wiki-wiki " which is commonly use to indicate something fast. I learn a lot for this week exercises.For me SJCPL Subject Guides and Book Lovers Wiki might work will within the library.

Using new technologies it is easier now to upload your photos and share it with your friends and family, you can put as many photos as you want, do slide show, edit you photos or even put a background on it. I really like flickr because it is easy to use.
